Excel Steel Structures is a full-service supplier, builder, and general contractor of steel buildings for the commercial, aviation, and agricultural sectors. We take a design–build approach to our process. Located in Fargo, ND, we represent Behlen Manufacturing and its product line since 1997, and we offer straight walls, curvets, and grain storage buildings for the upper Midwest. Our service area includes Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, and Williston, North Dakota; Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, East Grand Forks, Alexandria, and St. Cloud, Minnesota; and the general state-wide areas of North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Montana. We have supplied and erected buildings in the oilfield area (including Williston, ND Minot, ND areas), on the Canadian border, and on several college campuses, as well as private agricultural and commercial buildings throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana.

We offer a 5-week building delivery for many of our projects, and we specialize in rapid building erection with our in-house building crews. We can supply materials only or do a full design–build, turnkey operation for you depending on your needs.
